And to kick things off, I've put together a special Tiny Vehicles slideshow. If you saw the recent Pink Panther movie, you'll have seen the Smart car. It's so small, you can park it sideways — it's no longer than most cars are wide.

Typical European cars have always been smaller than most US cars. Gas is more expensive and they're used to smaller cars with better gas mileage. If we had smaller cars in the States, or more ways to get alternative fuels, we'd produce a lot less carbon dioxide.
