Do Something is a group calling on kids like us to green our schools. They'e running a contest. We can all try to reduce the carbon footprint of our school this fall by starting new recycling programs, launching carpool-only days, planning environmental assemblies, turning our trash into useful items, introducing organic and local foods to the school cafeteria, or whatever our creative green minds can come up with. We — or any of our fans — could win up to $1500 to further our eco-friendly efforts! The competition is open to all greenies in the US and Canada and it closes on December 8th. Winners will be announced on January 5th on their Web site.
