Dad! Don't throw those packing boxes out.
But I was heading to the dump to put them in the recycling bin. I thought you said that recycling things makes me the Cool Dad. I always wanted to be Cool Dad.
But you can be Even Cooler Dad if we can find new uses for them because that takes even less energy. My friend Lulu makes all kinds of stuff out of old boxes and packaging. She's made homes for her toys and even built a laptop from an old shoe box. She uses paper, cardboard and even foam. How cool is that?
That's pretty cool especially if somehow it helps me be the Even Cooler Dad. I think that's the real message here.
