I *heart* trees! Trees are amazing vacuums. They help reduce global warming from greenhouse gases by sucking carbon dioxide out of the air! There are two big tree-planting projects going on right now. The Nature Conservancy's campaign hopes to plant a billion trees. They ask for a dollar, and they'll plant the tree. The United Nations' tree project aims to plant SEVEN BILLION trees — more than one per person on earth! Their project asks you to plant the tree, and let them know about it.
